How to Support BJW

We rely on voluntary donations from attendees, businesses, venues and other community organizations. These donations may be tax-deductable (consult your tax advisor).

Workshop attendees can drop a few dollars in the tip jar. Local businesses and community organizations can make donations in person at the workshop, or by mail.

A: Yes! We offer a beginner jazz class every Tuesday at 6:30 pm. To participate you should be comfortable with your instrument, able to play major and minor scales in every key, and read music.

Q: How does the open jam session work?

A: The jam session is intended for more advanced players who want to practice improvisation, improve their sight-reading skills, and learn to collaborate on-stage with a group. Click below for some basic process and etiquette guidelines.
